About this tool
TFRs are short-notice airspace closures issued by the FAA — VIP movements, wildfires, stadium events, security zones. Flying an unmanned aircraft inside a TFR without authorization is a Part 91.137 / 91.141 violation and can result in certificate action or criminal charges.
Data source: the FAA NOTAM Management System (NMS-API), staging environment. TFRs are filtered from the FDC NOTAM classification and de-duplicated by NOTAM number. Results are cached for 15 minutes.
This tool is a pre-flight nudge — not a replacement for the official FAA TFR site (tfr.faa.gov). Always re-verify before flight.
