Privacy Policy

When you sign up, we store your email address and an authentication identifier so you can sign in. If you sign in with a third-party provider (such as Google), we also store the basic profile information that provider returns (typically name and email). Passwords are never stored in plain text.

When you save a job or log mileage, we store the inputs you provide so you can load them later. This includes:

• Platform, industry, and pricing inputs (rates, fees, hours, miles)
• Job address, coordinates, and mission date if you enter them
• Bid amounts, flat-rate offers, and job status (pending, awarded, lost, completed)
• Mileage trips: origin, destination, miles, date, purpose, and notes

Each record is tied to your account and protected by row-level security so other users cannot read or modify it.

For convenience, the App stores the following on your device using your browser’s local storage. This data does not leave your device unless you explicitly save it to your account:

• Your rate settings (hourly, travel, and fuel preferences)
• UI preferences such as which panels are expanded
• Your authentication session token, used to keep you signed in

You can clear this data at any time by clearing your browser storage.

To deliver core functionality, the App sends limited inputs to the following services. These providers process the data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy policies:

• Authentication & database hosting — used to authenticate users and store the data described above.
• Google Maps Platform — used for address autocomplete, geocoding, and driving distance lookups when you enter a job location.
• AI providers — used to fetch regional industry benchmark estimates and similar contextual data. Only the non-personal query (industry and city/region) is sent.
• Public pricing APIs — used to look up local fuel prices for travel cost estimates.

• We do not collect payment information.
• We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
• We do not run advertising trackers or third-party analytics on your saved jobs or mileage data.

Your saved jobs and mileage records are retained until you delete them or request account deletion. To delete your account and all associated data, email privacy@rotorrate.com. Cached benchmark data (which is not tied to a user) expires automatically.

You can view, edit, or delete your saved jobs and mileage records from within the App at any time. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable law (such as the GDPR or CCPA), including the right to access, correct, port, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent.

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Stored records are protected by row-level security so they are only accessible to the account that created them. While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, no system is perfectly secure — see the full disclaimer for limitations on liability.

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
